Digivisio 2030’s new e-learning training now available

18 March 2024

The latest e-learning training course provide the tools to plan even higher-quality and more varied learning content, especially for continuous learners. The courses are specifically designed to support the work of teaching and support staff at higher education institutions.

What’s it all about?

As part of the Digivisio 2030 project, e-learning training has been produced to help staff at higher education institutions plan even better learning content for continuous learners.  The training courses provide not only up-to-date information and new perspectives, but also practical tips on how to deliver the training. The courses are specifically designed for teaching and support staff at higher education institutions.

High-quality e-learning is key to promoting the Digivisio 2030 target scenario.  The focus is on the continuous learner, whose expectations and needs are different from those of degree students. “While they are working, continuous learners seek to learn the knowledge and skills they need for their job. Continuous learners can be motivated, for example, by the integration of studies into work, the optional nature of learning methods and the time spent on learning. The courses provide perspectives and solutions on these themes, among other things.

Digivisio 2030 is a joint project involving all Finnish higher education institutions whose aim is to create a future for learning that benefits the institutions, learners and our society.

As part of the Digivisio 2030 project, higher education institutions have developed a new digital service. Opin.fi is a completely new digital service that brings together the open study offerings of Finnish higher education institutions in one place. The solution is created for everyone who wants to apply or return to higher education.

It will be launched in 2025. In the future, each learner will continuously develop themselves, learning new things and updating their old skills. Opin.fi encourages students to familiarise themselves with the most diverse study opportunities and helps them plan their own individual learning journey.
