Tampere University
The University was created in 2019 through a merger between the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology. Almost all internationally recognised fields of study are represented in our university.
Our university has seven faculties:

Doctoral education pilot opens at Tampere University
Tampere University will recruit 106 fully funded PhD candidates for a three-year term in calls that open in spring and autumn 2024. The posts are part of the national doctoral education pilot programme.

Our Centres of Excellence carry out body-on-chip research and study game cultures, among other things. The University is home to more than 100 active research groups and centres, and we have countless research projects underway.
