Support research and education – choose a cause that matters to you

By donating to our current fundraising causes, you can help advance research, education and societal impact. Our donation options are organized by theme, making it easy to find a way to support the development of future expertise that matters to you. Each cause includes a link to an online donation form, through which giving is easy, quick and secure. You can make a one-time donation or become a monthly donor.

A sustainable future

A sustainable future is built on actions that take into account both the environment and people’s well-being over the long term. With your support, we advance circular economy solutions, promote the practical application of research findings and improve accessibility—strengthening the environment, equality and everyday life.

Health and well-being

Health and well-being form the foundation of a good life throughout all stages of life. With your support, we promote health from the earliest stages of life and improve the everyday lives of people living with chronic conditions.

Technology and the built environment

Technology and construction play a key role in developing safer work environments and effective solutions. With your support, we advance the use of robotics to improve workplace safety, develop game-based solutions to global challenges and promote sustainable construction.

Society and education

Information for donors

Tex deductibility

Donations totaling at least EUR 850 made to Tampere University during a calendar year are tax-deductible.

If your total donations during a calendar year amount to at least EUR 850, please provide your Finnish personal identity code for the processing of the tax deduction. This will enable us to submit the necessary information to the tax authorities. You can provide this information when making your donation via the online donation form or by contacting us at: donations.tau [at] tuni.fi (donations[dot]tau[at]tuni[dot]fi)

Fundraising permit

Tampere University Foundation sr, which operates as Tampere University, has a fundraising permit. Donated funds will be used to support activities described in section 2 of the Finnish Universities Act. Donated funds can also be added to the University’s basic capital, and the generated revenues will be used to support activities described in section 2 of the Universities Act. The fundraising permit was issued by the National Police Board of Finland on 15 May 2020. The permit will remain in force indefinitely.
