Approximately one in four students in basic education needs support for learning and schooling. By supporting research and education in special education at our university, you can help ensure that no child is left without the support they need.

Why should I donate to the University?

Tax deduction
Donations totaling at least EUR 850 made to Tampere University during a calendar year are tax-deductible.
If your total donations during a calendar year amount to at least EUR 850, please provide your Finnish personal identity code for the processing of the tax deduction. This will enable us to submit the necessary information to the tax authorities. You can provide this information when making your donation via the online donation form or by contacting us at: donations.tau [at] tuni.fi (donations[dot]tau[at]tuni[dot]fi)

Fundraising licence
Tampere University Foundation sr, which operates as Tampere University, has a fundraising permit. Donated funds will be used to support activities described in section 2 of the Finnish Universities Act. Donated funds can also be added to the University’s basic capital, and the generated revenues will be used to support activities described in section 2 of the Universities Act. The fundraising permit was issued by the National Police Board of Finland on 15 May 2020. The permit will remain in force indefinitely.

Monthly donations
You can also support Tampere University through monthly donations. You can start making monthly donations by selecting the monthly donation option on the online donation form or by making a donation via our MobilePay number.
You can cancel your monthly donation at any time by notifying us at: donations.tau [at] tuni.fi (donations[dot]tau[at]tuni[dot]fi). Monthly donations made via MobilePay can also be cancelled directly in the MobilePay app or by contacting MobilePay Customer Service.
