Tampere University is one of the most multidisciplinary universities in Finland. Almost all internationally recognised fields of study are represented at our university.

Tampere University brings together research and education in technology, health and society. Our collaboration with our partners is built on our strengths, unique combinations of scientific disciplines and applied expertise.

Tampere University is a community of 21,000 students and close to 4,000 staff members. The University was created in 2019 through a merger between the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology.

Juniversity offers exciting activities for children and young people

Juniversity is a university for children and young people. Juniversity offers science outreach activities to learners attending pre-schools, comprehensive schools, upper secondary schools and vocational schools and fosters positive attitudes towards science. In addition, Juniversity supports teachers by enriching learning.
