Unit of Education
We are a research and learning community that studies the state of education in society and the reshaping of education. We are training experts and change-makers with strong social and cultural awareness and an analytical mindset for the education sector at all levels of education from early childhood to adult education. Our learning community values multi-voicedness and encourages broad and critical thinking.
Our research focuses on educational activities, educational knowledge, and educational institutions. We see education as a tool for social change, which is why the aim of our activities is to promote the development and study of educational principles and practices in society.
Our focus is on
- changing and multicultural educational and work environments
- the societal aspects of teacher training
- educational policies, structures, and cultures.
As experts, we participate in public discussion on educational policy and in the strengthening of civil society.
