Textile and Material Engineering - information for new students
ORIENTATION 2023 TEXTILE AND MATERIAL ENGINEERING

Congratulations! You are about to start your studies in Textile and Material programme in TAMK.
Your studies will begin on Tuesday 22nd August at 10.00 am at the auditorium E1-06 in TAMK main campus (Kuntokatu 3). There will be tutors to guide you.
The first week is an orientation week. There are many systems used in TAMK and this is the opportunity to learn to use them. Also, it is important to get to know the other students in your group.
Before the studies, make sure you have a well working laptop and take it with you.
Orientation
Orientation days are not only mandatory for all students, they are the best way to get started. You will see and hear about our facilities and services, meet with everyone in your study group and get to know each other, talk to the key people in building your future: the head of your programme, your tutor teacher, other lecturers, your study counsellor, TAMK social counsellor, student union members and many more.
