Remember to use your new account when logging in. You’ll be accepted to the group at the latest by the day when your orientation will start.

Curriculum and credit transfer for prior Bachelor's studies

Take a closer look at your curriculum to better understand your study and learning goals. The individual descriptions of courses include methods, teachers, timing of the course within the academic year, evaluation criteria and exam types.

This information is especially important if you wish to transfer credits for some previously completed higher education courses, since you need to propose the substitution and discuss the matter with either Head of Degree Programme or your Study Counsellor.

If you have questions about accreditation or credit transfer, it is best to contact the head of degree programme or your study counsellor in advance to avoid the rush during the orientation days. Head of Degree Programme will mainly discuss the credit transfer for international students and study counsellor with the Finnish students.

Language studies

During Orientation Days there will be a language study info. All students starting their degree studies at TAMK take starting level tests in English and Swedish regardless of their previous studies (excluding students who are applying for exemption from English or Swedish). The tests are taken right at the beginning of the studies, and they can be taken only once. The tests are in TUNI Moodle, and the student can take them independently anywhere and anytime. The tests will give the student information about his/her skill level and a recommendation on how to proceed.

Student background information

Please fill in a student background information questionnaire. This information will help us in the possible questions of language studies and credit transfr process.
