Come and hear how you can make use of the library’s open access publishing agreements or open access support funding, learn to recognize different open access publishing models, and find out how to take Rights Retention (prior licence model) into account as one way to publish open access.
Available discounts and funding for OA publishing -training on Monday 23.3.2026 at 9:00-10:00.
This training is intended for members of the higher education community who want to learn about article processing charges related to Open Access publishing in their academic work or studies.
After the training:
- You will understand the different ways of open access publishing and the differences between them
- You will know how to use the library's agreements on open access publishing and act according to the instructions
- You will know about other possible sources of funding for open access costs
- You will find additional instructions and know where to ask for help if necessary
The training is provided by open access specialists at Tampere University Library. The training is an online training session in Teams. The training will not be recorded.
