Are you working on a project funded by the Research Council of Finland? Do you know what Plan S-compliant publishing channels are and how to check compatibility?

Research Council of Finland and Plan S compliant publication channels -training on Monday 13.4.2026 at 9:15-10:00

The training is designed for members of the higher education community who work in Research Council of Finland's (formerly known as Academy of Finland) funded projects.

After the training you will:   

  • Understand Research Council of Finland's policy on open access publishing, and its impact on the choice of publication channel​ 
  • Know how to identify Plan S-compatible publication channels 
  • Know how to choose the form of open access publishing according to Research Council of Finland’s​ guidelines
  • Know why and how self-archiving is done 
  • Know how to find additional instructions and know where to ask for help if necessary

The training is provided by open science specialists at Tampere University Library. The training session is an online event in Teams, and it will not be recorded. You can add the event to your Outlook calendar from the intranet event page.
