You can reserve the material on shelf directly in the Andor search service 1.2. onwards
Begining from 1.2.2021 you can make a reservation for the 14-day and 28-day loan period books on the shelf yourself directly in the Andor search service.
To make a reservation you need a valid library card. You will receive an e-mail notification when the reserved material arrives at the pick-up service point of your choice. In this exceptional situation, it may take several working days for the material to arrive.
Library pick-up service points in Hervanta and TAMK Main Campus are open Mon-Fri from 8 to 16. The pick-up service point of Linna unit in Idea on the Kalevantie side will be open on Mondays from 8 to 18, Tue-Fri from 8 to 16.
At the pick-up service point, you have a self service machine to borrow reserved material, so please make sure you know the working PIN-number of your library card for borrowing.
You can reach the pick-up service point of the Hervanta unit during the opening hours (Mon-Fri 8-16) without a key card, for other units of the library you need a key card for the campus.
If the door does not open with your access card, contact the information on the campus in question to check / activate the access right.
The current online reserving form for books on the shelf will be discontinued on Friday 29.1. afternoon. Please place your reservations of the material you need well in advance of the afternoon.
- Follow the safety guidelines indoors and follow the restrictions on number of persons in limited indoors space. No unnecessarily multiple people in the same space.
- Transactions at the pick-up service point must be waited in line outside the premises, observing the safety guidelines, if there are already multiple people in the premises.
- Hand desinfection is available at pick-up service points - use it!
- If you have any respiratory symptoms or feel ill, do not pick up the book yourself indoors.
Follow the information on the library's website and intranet, and you will always find the latest information about the situation of the library's services during a pandemic.
Despite the closure of the library's premises, all the library's online services will continue as normal.
