Tampere University climbs to the top 250 on the clinical, pre-clinical and health ranking of world universities

Times Higher Education (THE) has published a ranking of the world’s top universities for clinical, pre-clinical and health studies. Tampere University has moved up to join the top 250 in the ranking that lists the world’s best universities in the area of clinical, preclinical and health research and teaching.

Of all the universities in Finland, Tampere University and the University of Turku are placed in the same 201-250 bracket and the University of Helsinki is ranked the highest.

Tampere University scored highest in the category for industry income. The ranking is based on five performance indicators with most weight assigned to research, teaching and citations.

Oxford University retained the top spot for clinical, pre-clinical and health teaching and research. Harvard came in second and the University of Cambridge in third place.
