Go Global! One week left to to apply in the autumn application round for exchange studies in North America, Africa and Australia in 2026-27, application time is 27 October - 16 November 2025

Why choose the United States, Canada, Tanzania, or Australia as your exchange destination?
The United States is one of Finland’s most important trade partners and one of the most influential countries in the world. Its universities rank among the best globally and conduct significant research across various fields. American campus life is unique: campuses are like small cities, full of events and sports. Studies often take place in small groups led by enthusiastic teachers, and you’ll find courses not available in Tampere. Exchange improves your English skills and offers networks that can be crucial for your career. Canada combines safety, high-quality education, and multiculturalism. Studying in Canada brings together academic excellence and closeness to nature – mountains, lakes, and national parks are right next to campuses. Canada’s open and friendly culture makes everyday life pleasant and offers perspectives you won’t find at home. Tanzania offers a completely different experience: a deep dive into African culture and development issues in an authentic context. You can study subjects like business, administration, and social sciences from an African perspective in English. You also have the opportunity to take a Swahili language course in Zanzibar, surrounded by white sandy beaches. Exchange in Tanzania is not just about studying – it’s an adventure that takes you to the savannas of Serengeti and the landscapes of Kilimanjaro. Australia combines top-tier education with a relaxed lifestyle. Adelaide offers a safe and multicultural environment with innovative teaching in English. During your exchange, you’ll experience a unique way of life on the other side of the globe – surfing, wine regions, and iconic landscapes. This is a chance to combine studies and adventure in an unforgettable way.
