Which North American or African destinations are available in the Autumn round?
The Autumn round is a primary application round for bilateral exchange destinations in North America, Australia and Africa in the academic year 2026-27, the application period is 27.10.-16.11.2025. In the information session we will browse the available destinations, but these can be found in the Mobility-Online and in the application form during the Autumn round as well. Please also note that North American (and Australian) exchange destinations from the north2north exchange programme will be available later during the Winter round. Please note that you can apply to several exchange destinations or/and exchange programmes during the Autumn round.

Please check Internationalisation during studies in the Student’s Guide to find more detailed information about the application process, available funding and exchange destinations. Please note that it is possible to apply only to non-European destinations during the Autumn round.

Target audience
Bachelor's and master's degree students who intend to apply in the autumn application round for exchange destinations in North America (United States, Canada), Australia, or Africa to go on exchange during the autumn semester 2026 or the spring semester 2027. Please note: Semester dates in Australia, Africa, and some Canadian universities differ significantly from those in Finland. The information session will be held in Finnish, but you will have the opportunity to ask your questions in English at the end of the session.
