Support for Open Access publishing is available to members of the higher education community in many ways. Come and hear how you can make use of the library’s Open Access agreements, when the library can cover the costs of Open Access publishing for your publication, and what other pathways to Open Access are available to you.
Available discounts and funding for OA publishing training on Monday 17th November 2025 at 9:15-10:00
This training is intended for members of the higher education community who want to learn about article processing charges related to Open Access publishing in their academic work or studies.
After the training:
- You will understand the different ways of Open Access publishing and the differences between them.
- You will know how to utilise the library’s Open Access publishing agreements and act according to the instructions
- You will know about other possible sources of funding for open access costs.
- You know where to find further information, and where to turn for help if needed.
The training will be provided by the library's Open Access specialists.
