Doctor, register to join in Tampere University’s Doctoral Conferment Ceremony in June 2025!
The event is intended for doctoral graduates from all the faculties at Tampere University and its predecessor institutions – Tampere University of Technology and the University of Tampere – who have not yet participated in a doctoral conferment ceremony. To attend, you must have completed your doctoral degree by 14 March 2025.
Conferees must register for the Conferment Ceremony by filling out an electronic registration form. Information about a potential companion must also be provided on this form. The participation fee for the 2025 Conferment of Doctoral Degrees is €390 per person. This fee is the same for doctoral conferees and their companions and covers all the events included in the Doctoral Conferment Ceremony. Registration will remain open until 14 March 2025.
The events of the Conferment of Doctoral Degrees are spread over three days, starting with the Rehearsal of the Conferment Ceremony at 15:00 on Friday 6 June. The main event, the Conferment Ceremony, will take place at Tampere Hall on Saturday 7 June. The events will conclude with a Garden Party on Sunday 8 June.
