AI Research Assistant included in Andor search service
The new AI Research Assistant allows you to do searches in natural language instead of precise search terms or subject headings. The AI Assistant analyses your question, converts it into a search string, and searches the database for five relevant articles that best match your information needs. Based on the summaries of these articles, the Assistant will create a summary with references to the sources used for further research.
The AI Assistant uses generative AI and the system provider's extensive data index of more than 5 billion records. You can access the feature by logging in to Andor and selecting the AI Research Assistant icon from the top menu.
It is worth noting that the feature is still in its beta phase, so there may be occasional disruptions or limitations in functionality. The service is continuously improved based on user feedback.
