The main window on the id.tuni.fi service shows the user's personal information, user name, contact information, study rights and agreements.

The your own information section allows you to view the user rights granted to you, change the language, enable two-step authentication, and select a priority of your contract.

  • Examine your user rights You may view your user rights by clicking the small icon pointing downwards at the end of your contract, which opens a list of your rights.
  • Change settings The change settings tab takes you to a page showing your settings. Here you may change the language (FI, EN) of the interface and start using two-factor authentication. Changing your password is also possible here.
  • Changing the primary contract If you have more than one contract (TAU, TAMK) and want to make one of them your primary contract, you can do this on the Your own information page by clicking "Choose primary contract". The name shown on O365 is based on the primary contract.

 

Things to note about your  own information

If you see a yellow triangle next to your email address in addition to your email address in the User ID and contact details, it means that that email box isn't in use. You cannot receive or send an email from this address. This is due to the type of visitor agreement that does not have email access. However, this address is visible to make HAKA login possible.
