The demand for textile specialists able to solve sustainability and circular economy challenges is constantly increasing and they will play a key role in the global business. Textile and material engineering professionals work in a collaboration with other professionals creating new sustainable textile innovations and in their commercialization.

This Bachelor's degree in Textile and Material Engineering is a multidisciplinary programme. It focuses on different materials in textiles and manufacturing processes, sustainability, circular economy, new innovations and businesses. Our education is conducted in a close collaboration with textile companies and future employers.

Your studies will progress from basic knowledge of materials to value chains of global textile industry as well as sustainability challenges of global business.

The degree programme will give you the ability to work globally as a textile professional in managing of development and production, in purchasing, and in marketing in textile industry, business or in public organizations. To give a few examples, you could start your career as production engineer, quality engineer, sales engineer, design engineer or proceed in various managerial positions.
