Who is programme for?
The Master’s Degree Programme in Leadership for Change is designed for students who are passionate about making a difference. If you are curious about the intersections of business, governance, and sustainability — and want to learn how to foster new forms of engagement across sectors of the economy and society — this programme is for you.
Interdisciplinary excellence
Uniquely combining business studies, administrative sciences and sustainability, the programme offers a holistic approach to leadership and change. With research a driven-curriculum and strong ties to real-world practice, the programme approaches leadership as a capability to drive change. It emphasises the importance of and the mechanisms for collaboration across multiple sectors of society, the multifaceted role of sustainability in transition processes, and the development of competencies needed not only to drive meaningful change in diverse and complex environments, but also lead change processes that contribute to societal wellbeing.
The programme structure includes interdisciplinary joint studies, specialisation specific advanced studies, free choice studies, and a master’s thesis. It enables you to tailor your studies to your interests and career aspirations. Governance for Sustainable Change specialisation
A cross-cutting theme of the Governance for Sustainable Change specialisation is the role of governance in fostering socially, ecologically, and economically sustainable societies. The specialisation provides you with an in-depth understanding to anticipate, analyse, and respond to the dynamic challenges facing today’s organisations and institutions. It develops competencies to operate with hybrid governance, leadership, policy, planning, and implementation. Additionally, as the governance specialisation is a part of an international programme, it actively supports the development of intercultural skills and competence.
