Registration is now open for Tampere University’s Doctoral Conferment Ceremony in June 2025
Conferees must register for the Conferment Ceremony by filling out an electronic registration form. Information about a potential companion (one guest per conferee) must also be provided on this form. Registration will remain open until 14 March 2025.
The participation fee for the 2025 Conferment of Doctoral Degrees is €390 per person. This fee is the same for doctoral conferees and their companions (one guest per conferee) and covers all the events included in the Doctoral Conferment Ceremony.
When registering, you will need to pay at least the deposit of €100 per person. This deposit guarantees a place in the Doctoral Conferment Ceremony and is non-refundable even if the registration is later cancelled. The remaining sum of €290 per person must be paid no later than 14 March 2025. This sum will be refunded to persons who have paid the full amount but have cancelled their registration by 14 March 2025.
The events of the Conferment of Doctoral Degrees are spread over three days, starting with the Rehearsal of the Conferment Ceremony at 15:00 on Friday 6 June. The main event, the Conferment Ceremony, will take place at Tampere Hall on Saturday 7 June. The events will conclude with a Garden Party on Sunday 8 June.
