Professor Juho Hamari is once again among the world’s most cited researchers

Clarivate has released its 2025 Highly Cited Researchers list, highlighting leading experts across a range of fields. This year, 18 researchers from Finland are included. Among them is our own Professor Juho Hamari.
Juho Hamari leads the Gamification Group at Tampere University and serves as Vice Dean responsible for research at the Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences, fostering the next generation of academic excellence.
The annual list recognizes researchers who have demonstrated significant influence in their fields through multiple highly cited publications over the past decade. Names are drawn from papers ranking in the top 1% by citations for their field and publication year in the Web of Science citation index.
