Wireless Systems and Antenna - Training

The Contents of the Training

The training consists of four modules, which are:

<ul>
	<li>Basics of wireless communication (5 ECTS)</li>
	<li>Basics of antennas and antenna simulation, antenna design and matching (5 ECTS)</li>
	<li>Wireless systems and antennas in different application areas (10 ECTS)</li>
	<li>Work-based learning (10 ECTS)</li>
</ul>

The training consists of contact teaching, independent study and work-based learning.

The training includes 5 days of vacation.

The training takes place at the main campus of Tampere University of Applied Sciences on Kuntokatu in Tampere.&nbsp;The length of the study day is 7 hours.

The training is flexilingual, i.e. teaching is given in both Finnish and English according to the needs and strengths of the students.

The training is free of charge and students can apply for the training through the TE Office. The application period for the training ends on 09.02.2024.

An information session on the training will be held on 23.01.2024 at 10.00.

The aim of the training is to train skilled wireless systems and their antenna experts who can design, implement and test various wireless solutions in different application areas. The training is work-oriented and special attention is paid to strengthening the professional networking of students. During the training, students will be able to collaborate with Pirkanmaa companies both in the theoretical part of the training and in the work-based learning period.
