Welcome to the inaugural lectures of our new professors on 15 May 2025

Inaugural lectures will be delivered on all our three campuses by 23 newly appointed professors from all the faculties at Tampere University. The lectures are open to everyone and will be held on 15 May from 10 to 12.
In the afternoon, from 13.30 to 14.30, all attendees are invited to a reception at the Main Auditorium in the Main Building (Päätalo) on the city centre campus. At the reception, President Keijo Hämäläinen will give a speech, two new professors will deliver their inaugural lectures and all the new professors will be presented with flowers. Afterwards, coffee and refreshments will be served in the foyer of the Main Auditorium.
