Tiedon valoa -event at Tampere Hall on Saturday 25 January

While most of the programme is in Finnish, the Tampere Institute for Advanced Study Talks seminar, The Power of Predictability: Understanding the Development of the Young Brain, is in English. In this seminar, held from 14.00 to 16.00 in Duetto, the internationally renowned expert Professor Sam Wass (University of East London) will speak about how predictability supports positive brain development. Senior Research Fellow Anneli Kylliäinen will provide commentary from the perspective of neurodiverse children and how to support them. The session is chaired by Director Juha Teperi (Tampere Institute for Advanced Study).
The event also features interactive exhibits and demos for children, including writing with light, bioprinting, the exhibition of a TFS24 formula car and the opportunity to meet the robots Furhat and Temi.
