Tampere University will confer 13 honorary doctorates at the June 2025 conferment ceremony

The multidisciplinary Tampere University will celebrate its second conferment of doctoral degrees on 6-8 June 2025. More than 200 doctorates and a total of 13 honorary doctorates will be conferred at the event.

The title of Honorary Doctor is the highest recognition that a university can award. Tampere University’s faculties have invited individuals from Finland and abroad to become honorary doctors based on achievements in the fields represented at the University or on other outstanding scientific, artistic, or societal merits.

The Honorary Doctors to be conferred in June 2025 are:
