TAMK organisation restructered, four new key appointments

The organisation structure of Tampere University of Applied Sciences will be renewed in August 2021. The new operational model responses to the challenges ahead and supports TAMK’s strategic goals. The reorganization involves four key appointments.

With the new operational model TAMK seeks more influence in several fields: stronger position in international RDI and education; new kind of role in the big reform of the Finnish healthcare and social welfare system; growth through entrepreneurial and sustainable business opportunities.

Key appointments

Niina Jallinoja, M.Sc., PhD, has been appointed Director of the school of Business and Media. She moves to TAMK from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences where she worked as Programme Director.

Susanna Seitsamo, MHS, has been appointed Director of the school of Social Services and Health Care. Seitsamo has previously headed the school of Health at TAMK.

Anne-Maria Mäkelä, M.Sc., has been appointed Manager of External Funding. Mäkelä moves to TAMK from Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences where she worked as Senior Advisor, International RDI.

Piritta Palokangas, M.A., BBA, has been appointed Manager of Communications and Marketing. Palokangas has worked as a news manager, producer and journalist in several media, most recently in Kauppalehti.
