Students from Weihai Vocational College explored Finnish Art and Design in TAMK online course

From April to June 2022, students from China participated in TAMK’s online course of Finnish Art and Design taught by various TAMK lecturers and Finnish experts. In the two-month online course, the students explored Finnish Art and Design which will inspire them in their future work.

This year, Weihai Vocational College in China collaborated with TAMK to offer their students a three-month weekly course on Finnish Art and Design. The course introduced the basic concepts of Finnish Art and Design, with a focus on architectural and interior design.

The students not only got to know the basic idea of Finnish Design but they also had the opportunity to study Finnish well-known architectural examples of school, villa and sauna design. The course encouraged students to set study goals and dream of their future careers. The students worked on group projects and benefited from peer feedback sessions.
