Research Council of Finland awards funding for ten researchers at Tampere University in biosciences, health and environmental research

The Research Council of Finland’s Scientific Council for Biosciences, Health and the Environment has granted funding to 38 Academy Research Fellowships, 76 Academy Projects and 12 Clinical Researchers across Finland. Ten of the Academy Projects are consortia consisting of several subprojects.
The Scientific Council awarded a total of €28 million to Academy Research Fellows, €47 million to Academy Projects and €2.9 million to Clinical Researchers.
The success rate for applicants seeking an Academy Research Fellowship was approximately 14%, while around 15% of applications for Academy Project funding were approved.
