New e-book collections available from Springer, access to Oxford Medicine Online continues

A large selection of e-books have been acquired from Springer with the customer-driven Evidence Based Acquisition (EBA) model. The subscription of Oxford Medicine Online portal, also acquired using the EBA model, has been extended for another year. Both collections are available until November 2022, after which we will select parts of the collections for permanent use. In the selection process we will utilise customer feedback and usage statistics.
An EBA collection of 8 000 e-books is now available from Springer. The books have been published in 2018–2021, you can find them both in Andor search service and SpringerLink database. The books are from the following subject areas:
• biomedical science
• chemistry and materials science
• environmental science
• energy
• artificial intelligence and robotics
Oxford Medicine Online combines Oxford University Press’s medical resources into one platform. You can access over 1 000 e-books, 2 000 videos, and a wide selection of educational materials. You can access the resources in the database, the e-books can also be found in Andor search service.
