New and discontinued Library e-materials in 2024

Tampere University Library has acquired new e-materials for the use of Tampere Universities community. At the same time, some previous e-resource agreements expire.

Cambridge University Press Journals
- collection includes more than 400 peer-reviewed Cambridge University Press scientific journals from various fields. The agreement includes unlimited publishing rights to CUP's full collection of hybrid and gold-OA journals. The corresponding authors affiliated with Tampere Universities and Tampere University Hospital will have unlimited publishing rights. Library will inform when open publishing is in use. Routledge Resources Online – Medieval Studies
- reference work database, containing a diverse range of peer-reviewed articles, covering geographic and thematic areas across the Medieval period.
Lexikon des Mittelalters and its complementary reference work International Encyclopaedia for the Middle Ages
- cover several themes and periods of Medieval studies in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. On trial use until the end of 2024.
Bibliography of British and Irish History
- provides bibliographic information on histories of the British Isles, the British Empire and the Commonwealth from 55 BC to the present day. The service will be on trial use until the end of 2024.
Hammaslääketiede ja suun terveys is a database of health professionals, which you can find in Terveysportti.
- The database includes e.g. Therapia Odontologica, Terve suu, Dental Database and dental procedures.
Sage Catalyst contains 550 e-textbooks on many subject areas and they have unlimited access. Sage Catalyst books work on VitalSource Explore platform . They will be added to Andor search service as well.
New e-journal subscriptions: Digital Translation, Journal of Statistical Mechanics: Theory and Experiment, NEJM Evidence, The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health, Faili, and Särö.
