Academic Board appointed four members to the Board of Tampere University Foundation

The Board members appointed for the term of 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2029 are:

Mikko Kanninen, DA (Theatre and Drama), Managing Director, Tampere Theatre
Eeva Moilanen, MD, Professor of Pharmacology, Tampere University
Ville Voipio, DSc (Tech), Professor of Practice in sustainable global business, University of Turku

The Board member appointed for the term of 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027 is:

Antti Arasto, DSc (Tech), Vice President, Energy, VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland

The current members whose Board terms continue until 31 December 2027 are:

Marina Erhola, MD, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Social Affairs and Health
Johanna Kantola, PhD, Professor, University of Helsinki
Tiina Mikkonen, student of technology, Tampere University

Chair of the Academic Board Arto Laitinen congratulates the appointed Board members. He also thanks the members of the university community and the founding members of Tampere University Foundation who nominated candidates for Board membership as well as the Appointment Committee for preparing the appointment.
