Get It Now article delivery service will be discontinued in June 2026

Through the Get It Now service, members of the higher education community—staff and students—have been able to order articles that are not included in the library’s subscribed e journal packages or databases. Copyright Clearance Center, the service provider, has now announced that it will discontinue the service designed for organisational use at the end of June. The service has been available to the Tampere higher education community since 2021.
Article orders via Get It Now can be placed as usual until 30 June 2026, so please make sure to order any articles you need during May and June (see the library guide for more information about the service https://libguides.tuni.fi/e-resource-guide/get-it-now).
The library is currently exploring a replacement service for acquiring individual articles. If a suitable service for the higher education community is found, it will be introduced no earlier than autumn 2026. Articles can also continue to be ordered via interlibrary loan. Please note, however, that interlibrary loan services will be on summer break from 18 June to 26 July.
