The INURA 2025 conference will explore how war and the threat of war shape the relationship between the state and civil society.
Hosted by the International Network for Urban Research and Action (INURA), the conference will bring together researchers, urban planners, policymakers, NGO representatives, and activists. INURA’s annual events foster knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue, and local insights, offering participants a deeper understanding of contemporary urban challenges. For the first time, INURA’s annual conference will take place in Finland. The 2025 event in the city of Tampere aims to strengthen connections with Finnish and Ukrainian academia and activism, while introducing global perspectives to the local context.
