Research Council of Finland awards funding for 13 Academy Research Fellows and Academy Projects in social sciences and humanities

The Scientific Council for Social Sciences and Humanities has selected 42 new Academy Research Fellows and granted funding to 59 Academy Projects, comprising a total of 74 subprojects.
The Council is allocating some €27 million to Academy Research Fellows and around €38 million to Academy Projects. Both grant types are awarded for four-year periods.
The applicant success rate was around 10 per cent for Academy Research Fellowships and around 10.5 per cent for Academy Projects.
