MOOC: Key Concepts of Cultural-Historical Activity Theory (CHAT), Verkko-opetus , 1 - 5 cr

The MOOC takes place mostly asynchronously from September 15 2025 to March 30 2026. Optional synchronous components are included in the first 12 weeks from September 15 to December 18 with a break during the weeks of October 5 and 12. Materials for each course module will be added weekly on the online platform. During the course there is a possibility to meet Professor Annalisa Sannino and other involved colleagues on ZOOM. These meetings are the synchronous components of the course and will take place once a week, as per the schedule listed in the following. These are optional 1h meetings in which Prof. Sannino will introduce, wrap up the course, and there will be time for substantive questions and answers on the course contents which can also be directly linked with the participants' own research. The MOOC is designed for individual study at the pace which is best suited for each individual situation. Students are however encouraged to reach out to other participants for self-directed collaboration. We hope also that new connections among participants could be established during the MOOC.
