<p>After completing this course the student...</p><ul><li data-list-item-id="ef6f1247b90b650dc956160e834c05a13">Understands the relevance and value of usability and user experience for people as users of information technology, for software business, and for the society as a whole, and how these concepts are influenced by various contextual and personal factors.​</li><li data-list-item-id="e16b2ef416bc847c0ed0fbe55f14d2db6">Recognizes different ways of human-technology interaction. Has knowledge of the history of human-technology interaction. Is aware of interaction trends and the role of ethics and sustainability in design.​</li><li data-list-item-id="edf5050a10ef7f187d61f9763b4d15e8c">Knows how to apply human-centred design methods in practice: applying models of human-technology interaction; creating preliminary sketches of user interfaces; utilizing design and evaluation principles in expert evaluation.​</li><li data-list-item-id="eea07af7cd5d45295d7f419de7eeacf27">Understands common practices in usability and user experience work in relation to agile product development.​</li></ul>
