Tampere Infant and Child Language Group

The Tampere Infant and Child Language Group (TICL) at Tampere University investigates how infants and children acquire language and communication skills.

Our interdisciplinary research combines behavioral, neurophysiological, and game-based methods to explore the early learning of language and speech.

We aim to understand the mechanisms that support language acquisition and communication in both typical development and in children with developmental language disorders and language-related difficulties.
