Goal

The coronavirus crisis has had a particularly strong impact on the operating conditions and future prospects of thehospitality sector. The goal of the “Capable – becoming resilient in the hotel and restaurant business” project is to strengthen the resilience of professionals and small and micro businesses in the hospitality sector by improving(occupational) well-being and continuous learning skills, by strengthening peer support, and by fostering the networking of professionals and businesses. The project offers participating entrepreneurs, businesses and their personnel in the hospitality sector multi-faceted support and guidance to strengthen their resilience at work through acomprehensive selection of development activities. From this selection, the participating businesses can select the activities they consider useful for them specifically. The project improves the resilience of hospitality sector businesses and their personnel now and in the future by supporting the holistic well-being (physical, psychological, and social) of both the entrepreneurs and the employees and by increasing resilience skills through continuous learning and peerlearning. As a result of this project, businesses, their employees, and supervisors have an improved ability to stay functional in an ever-changing operating environment.
