To create a national network model for the continuous development of age technology education.

Goal
The IkäteknosNet?-project is an innovative and attractive multidisciplinary collaboration project aiming to develop and coordinate the continuous learning education offerings in age technology within the social and health care sector on a national level. The project addresses the increasing service needs of the aging population and the workforce shortage in social and health care by creating a strategic network collaboration model that brings together educational institutions, service providers, age technology developers, and other stakeholders from different regions and educational levels.
The project is implemented as a consortium, enabling wide national networking, shared resourcing, and coordinated activities that improve the quality, accessibility, and customer orientation of education. Continuous development of age technology expertise supports elderly people to live at home, home care services, strengthens the digital skills of professionals, and increases cost-efficiency in social and health care. The network model for continuous learning in age technology enables flexible and location-independent education that responds agilely to the changing needs of working life.
The project includes a comprehensive current state analysis, stakeholder workshops, piloting, and evaluation to define and finalize the cooperation model for education provision called IkäteknosNet. The outcome is a national network model that strengthens the strategic development of age technology expertise and the sustainability of service production, while promoting regional equality and cooperation.
