Leena Katto

I work in TAMK’s Pedagogical Solutions and Culture unit as a Senior Expert. I serve as the Head of the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) for the Tampere Universities and as the contact person for digital lecturers on the TAMK side. In my roles, I work broadly with the development of teachers’ pedagogical competence, for example, through TAMK’s Digital Pedagogy team. My interests include open learning, accessibility, and the design of learning processes in digital environments. Particularly close to my heart is the development of teachers’ pedagogical expertise throughout their careers.

Outside of work, I spend my time in the garden, with horses and handicrafts, and enjoying time with my large family.
