The University of Tampere Foundation declares the research and study grants from the following donor funds open for application as of 2 September 2019. The application deadline is 4 October 2019.

1. VOCATIONAL EDUCATION FUND
The fund awards grants to the maximum total amount of €15.000 for research in the field of voca-tional education.

2. KALLE KAIHARI’S HEART RESEARCH FUND
The fund awards one or more grants to the maximum total amount of €6.000 for current research in heart disease at Tampere University.

3. FUND FOR MUNICIPAL STUDIES
The fund awards grants to the maximum amount of €6.000 to students who have been successful in their studies towards a Master’s degree in local governance or to postgraduate students who have shown talent in the field when studying towards their licentiate’s or doctoral degrees.

4. SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION FUND
The fund awards grants to the maximum total amount of €2.000 for research in business admin-istration at Tampere University.

5. PERTTI JÄRVINEN’S INFORMATION SYSTEMS FUND
Emeritus Professor Pertti Järvinen’s Information Systems Fund awards grants to the maximum amount of €1.000 for postgraduate studies and/or research in information systems science at Tam-pere University. The scholarships can be granted for eg conducting empirical fieldwork or partici-pation in a scientific conference in the field.

6. TEEMU TUOMINEN’S INTERNATIONAL CRISIS MANAGEMENT FUND
The fund awards one grant of €800 to an undergraduate student in political science for a field trip abroad or for an international conference.

7. ANU KIRRA FUND
The fund grants €15.000 to chronically ill or disabled students at Tampere University. First priori-ty is given to talented students who suffer from arthritis and have limited means of support. Ex-plain why you apply for this particular grant, detail the sum you apply for as well as the planned use of the grant.

8. MATTI NAARMINEN’S FUND
The fund grants €6.000 for research on prostate cancer.

The free-format applications must be sent to the office of the University of Tampere Foundation, Kalevantie 4 (the Main Building of the University), room B103 by 4 October 2018 at the latest.
