Come and learn more (in Finnish) about the ISEP student exchange programme and the opportunities it offers! ISEP (International Student Exchange Program) is a unique exchange programme that allows you to apply to up to ten universities of your choice with a single application. You don’t need to worry about arranging accommodation, paying for housing, or campus meals – everything is taken care of once you pay the ISEP programme fee to Tampere University. ISEP is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to go on exchange to North America. In this info session, we’ll explain how the program works, what destinations are available, and how an exchange can benefit your studies and future career. You’ll also get practical tips for the application process and hear experiences from current ISEP exchange students. Don’t miss this opportunity – join us and start your journey toward an unforgettable ISEP exchange experience! The information session will be held in Finnish, but you will have the opportunity to ask your questions in English at the end of the session.

Please note: The main language of the information session will be Finnish.

Do you want to go on exchange to North America? Tampere University degree students have an excellent opportunity to apply for an exchange through the international ISEP Student Exchange Programme. The internal application period for ISEP exchanges for the 2026–27 academic year is 27 October – 16 November 2025. You can find more information in the Student’s Guide:

What will you gain from the ISEP webinar?

In this session, you’ll learn how the ISEP programme works, the application process, and the destinations available. You’ll also get practical tips for preparing your application and have the chance to ask questions directly to Tampere University’s ISEP coordinator. We may also hear experiences from students currently on ISEP exchange in the United States. Additional details can be found in the attachments on this event page.

Visit the Internationalisation during studies section of the Student’s Guide for detailed information on the application process, funding options, and available destinations. Please note that during the autumn application round, you can only apply for destinations and programmes outside Europe.

Other exchange opportunities for North America

North American destinations in the north2north exchange programme will only be available in the Winter application round. Target audience

Bachelor's and master's degree students who plan to apply in the autumn application round for an ISEP exchange in North America (United States, Canada) for the autumn semester 2026 or the spring semester 2027. Please note that the ISEP webinar will not be recorded, but the presentation materials will be published on the Student Guide’s Opiskelijavaihdon hakuohjeet page (in Finnish). The information session will be held in Finnish, but you will have the opportunity to ask your questions in English at the end of the session.
