36 applications received for the posts of Dean at Tampere University

At Tampere University, seven vacancies for Deans were open from 26 June to 15 August 2023. The positions are full-time and will be filled for a fixed term of five years starting from 1 January 2024. 36 applications in total were received for the posts of Dean. Some candidates submitted their applications for more than one position of Dean.

The following people applied for the post of Dean at Tampere University by the deadline of 15 August 2023:

Faculty of Information Technology and Communication Sciences: Isotalus Pekka, Kanniainen Juho, Koljonen Tatu, Kälviäinen Heikki, Laakkonen Mika-Petri, Savioja Lauri, Takala Jarmo, Verho Pekka and Vuorinen Jyrki.

Faculty of Management and Business: Heikkilä Jussi, Kolehmainen Jari, Kujala Johanna, Laitinen Ilpo, Lönnqvist Antti, Vuorinen Jyrki and Välikangas Liisa.

Faculty of Education and Culture: Honkonen Risto, Isotalus Pekka, Jahnukainen Markku, Juurakko-Paavola Taina and Silander Tiina.

Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology: Kankaanranta Hannu, Kellomäki Minna and Parkkila Seppo.

Faculty of Built Environment: Anttila Erkki, Lönnqvist Antti, Takala Jarmo and Vuorinen Jyrki.

Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences: Kauranen Martti, Kellomäki Minna, Lohtander Mika and Vuorinen Jyrki.

Faculty of Social Sciences: Häikiö Liisa, Lundsten Lars Gunnar, Rannisto Pasi-Heikki and Salonen Marko.

The Board of Tampere University Foundation sr will decide on the selections for the positions of Deans based on the President’s proposal on 3 October 2023.
