Implementation of Phone and Mobile Device Management
Microsoft Intune Mobile Device Management (MDM) is a solution that helps to improve information security in mobile phones and in the information systems used by the Universities community. The solution consists of an app running on an Android phone or an iPhone, and a management system running in a cloud service.
Starting from September 1, 2024, mobile devices owned by Tampere Universities community must have at least the operating system version Android 12 or iOS 17. The same requirements apply to the use of mobile device management and TUNI electronic services (e.g., email) on personal mobile devices. Please ensure that your device meets these requirements.
