Support for developing pedagogical expertise at Tampere Universities

The Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) serves as a collaborative network that advances higher education pedagogy across Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK). We provide teaching support, foster a sense of community and promote networking among all staff engaged in teaching within Tampere Universities.

The Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) provides a broad range of training opportunities and support services to staff at Tampere University and TAMK to enhance pedagogical competence. We collaborate with pedagogical specialists to offer support that is primarily designed for groups and academic communities. Individual guidance is also available, for example, for designing courses and launching online courses. In addition, the Teaching Helpdesk serves as a central point of contact for teaching staff at Tampere University, ensuring easy access to all services that support teaching and student guidance.
