When finding an answer to the biggest questions in technology, health and society is close to your heart, please donate to Tampere University or Tampere University of Applied Sciences! The positive development of the Universities’ activities depends on a stronger core funding base and their ability to gain external funding. Donations play an increasingly significant role in broadening our funding base. As a donor, you will enable new openings in research and education.
- Our donation culture is based on ethics, openness and respect for the will of donors.
- Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences have separate fund-raising licences, and donations should be individually targeted to them.
- We accept both general and targeted donations.
- Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences undertake fund-raising and use donated funds in accordance with their strategy and policies aligned by their President and Board.
- We are building significant research and development co-operation with businesses and draw a clear line between gratuitous donations and other types of co-operation.
Foundations
Three foundations support the activities of Tampere Universities according to their own regulations by, for example, awarding scholarships and grants. The foundations are independent organisations that operate according to their own regulations and can receive donations.
