
Faculty of Pedagogical Innovations and Culture
Education and Training
The Faculty of Pedagogical Innovations and Culture (PERAKU) at TAMK is responsible for organizing music education, language and communication teaching, as well as mathematics and physics teaching. The faculty also includes the School of Professional Teacher Education (TAOK), which provides vocational teacher education, special needs vocational teacher education, and vocational guidance counselor education. Additionally, the faculty oversees the multidisciplinary degree programme of Verkostoissa oppimisen ja osaamisen tutkinto-ohjelma (VETO).
Teaching and Learning Centre
The coordination and development of TAMK’s pedagogical development program and the Teaching and Learning Centre are also part of the unit’s responsibilities.
Digital Pedagogy Team
The role of the digital pedagogy team is to develop educational systems and digital learning environments, and to support their smooth and pedagogically meaningful use.
Continuing Learning
The team of continuing learning coordinates the development of TAMK’s continuing learning activities and the continuing learning team (including continuing learning managers and the Opin.fi service). The mission of TAMK’s continuing learning is to enable lifelong learning by offering diverse educational options and flexible learning paths for different target groups. The goal is to respond to the changing needs of society and working life, and to support the development of individuals and organizations.
