Tutkimuskohteet
Dr. Sanna Raudaskoski (PhD, Social Psychology) explores how people interact with each other through and alongside technology. Her work draws on ethnomethodology and affordance theory to understand the fine-grained dynamics of everyday interaction.
She completed her doctoral research in the User-Centered Information Technology (UCIT) program at the University of Tampere, focusing on how mobile phones shape social interaction. Along the way, she has studied Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in interactions with aphasic speakers, as well as the social practices surrounding live-streamed music concerts.
More recently, her research has turned to smartphone use in face-to-face situations and the evolving field of human–robot interaction.
At Tampere University, she teaches and supervises students across all levels, from bachelor’s to doctoral studies.
