Oma esittely
I am a social scientist interested in how people live together in diversifying urban environments. I seek to understand changing political and social landscapes by engaging with daily practices and forms of coexistence. The question of what communities mean and how they are formed in people's everyday life lies at the heart of my work. Conceptually, I am interested in rethinking community in terms of emergence, instead of relying on group-based or place-bound accounts of togetherness. Currently, I lead an ERC funded project on these themes: EmergentCommunity
